I was born and raised in southern Louisiana. I graduated high school from Baker High School, a small community school right outside of Baton Rouge. While there, I was a two-sport athlete in volleyball and softball and graduated valedictorian of my class. I then attended Hendrix College where I played softball and majored in chemistry. I graduated from Illinois State University with a Master's of Science in Chemistry Education in August of 2018. I received my National Board Certification in Chemistry in December of 2020!
This will be my tenth year teaching and coaching (volleyball) at Magnet High and I look forward to the year! Feel free to contact me any time!
